Delete a driver account
A driver can delete their account in the app, at once, or from this page without the app. Guests who scanned a card do not have an account; clearing the site data on the phone ends that session.
Cancel your Taxista Pro subscription in Google Play first; deleting your account does not cancel it.
In the app
- Open Settings. Under Help, tap Delete account (the last row, in red).
- Read the sheet: Delete your account? It lists what goes.
- Tap Delete everything. The account is deleted there and then, with no waiting period, and the phone is signed out.
During a job the app refuses: finish or cancel the job you are on first.
What is deleted, all at once
- Your sign-in, your profile and your page: the link on your cards stops working.
- Your photo, car, plate, prices, fixed prices, places and booking settings.
- Your backup drivers, the lists you are a backup on, and your invites.
- Every trip and request on your page, with its messages, positions and reminders.
- Your push tokens, the phone’s diagnostic log and any feedback you sent, with its photo.
- The families you blocked, the reports you made, and the record of the terms you agreed to.
- Your Pro months and Play purchase records. Google keeps its own record of the order, and the payment provider keeps its own record of card payments.
The families who ride with you
- Every message between you and a family is deleted with your account. Nothing from those threads is kept.
- A family known only through you is deleted entirely. Next time they open a page, they are a new visitor.
- A family who also rides with another driver stays with that driver. Their messages with that driver are untouched.
- A ride you took for a colleague stays on their page, without your name on it.
Without the app
Type the Google email you signed in with. We confirm the request with that address, delete the account and everything listed above, and write to you when it is done, within 7 days of your confirmation.
