Where Taxista is available
This is about regions and law, not about who is on Taxista. We never list drivers or towns with drivers in them.
Taxista is a tool a taxi driver uses to stay in touch with customers he has already served. It does not check or assert his licence; the customer chose him in the car, and the law that governs him is the local taxi law, which the app neither adds to nor stands in for. The customer meets the driver however they meet him — the rank, the airport board, the hotel — and is given his card in the car after the first trip. From then on the page does what a phone number does, better: it says whether he is working, takes a request for him, shows him coming, and keeps the family’s places. Taxista never puts a passenger in front of a driver they have not met; never pools requests or allocates them; never sets, suggests or takes a share of a price; never holds money; never rates. Each page is one driver’s. The only movement of a job between drivers is the driver himself forwarding a request to a named colleague, as he would forward a message, and the passenger sees who is coming before anyone moves. Where a region’s law treats electronic payment or forwarding as intermediation, those features are off in that region.
