Help
- What Taxista is, in one page — An app for you; a page for your guests; nothing in between.
- Setting up in ten minutes — Sign in with Google, then four screens: you, your car, your prices, your backup drivers.
- The small card over Google Maps — So a request can reach you while you follow a route. Optional; Taxista works without it.
- A switch in Settings is grey — On newer phones Android greys out the small card over Google Maps for apps not installed from Google Play.
- Why Taxista asks for your location — So the family who asked can see you coming. Only them, only during their ride, never kept as a trail.
- Requests arrive late, or the phone stays silent — Three settings on the phone decide whether a request can ring: notifications, full-screen alerts and the battery saver.
- My town is not in the list — Taxista opens town by town. Tell us yours and we add it.
- The phone number will not save — Type it the international way: a plus, the country code, then the number without its first 0.
- A family on an iPhone is not told you are here — On an iPhone only a page added to the Home Screen can send notifications. The page still chimes while it is open.
- Paying your driver — Pay your driver directly. Card payment in the page is not available yet.
- Taxista Pro — What Pro adds, what is kept if it ends, and how to cancel.
- Block or report a family — Stop a family asking you for rides or messaging you, and tell us about a problem. They are not told.
- How to reach us — Write to team@taxista.app. We answer within a day.
